Practically a character unto itself the Consignment Freight Van plays a big part in the 5th Star Watch book, Space Case. This small but sturdy craft has three levels. the lower level is the living quarters as well as the stern access to the air-lock and the main hatch. The middle level is forward and is the cockpit compartment. The top level is the hold where pre-assigned container sizes fill the shelves. The very top of the van has the DI or Delivery Interface.

I really enjoy the stories and the excellent character development. For an old disabled vet with some serious pain issues the stories offer pure escapism and distractions from some of my real life issues. I have been reading since a very early age with sci-fi being my favorite genre. On average I read two books a day. Better than pain meds. The addition of ship details are really cool. I appreciate an author that truly entertains and writes stories that are so engaging. Kudos sir.
Thank you Dan, I glad you enjoy the stories!
Talk about small world.. am also disabled vet, 100% base rated service connected and I too find the books and series a good way to escape pain etc for a while.
Excellent double series. Not sure what I will do once I read
At few soon. I do one to two books a day as well.
Just hope they keep coming!
BTW US Navy myself so loved the battleship segment!!
I really enjoy the engaging stories and superb character development. Think I’ve read most, if not all, of your books.
Walking and talking survivor of 5 motorcycle accidents; I also read to distract from my serious pain issues. The stories offer pure escapism and distractions from some of my real life issues. I also have been reading since a very early age with sci-fi being my favorite genre and am a speed-reader. I average 2+ books a day and look for the multi-book series. Reading, along with heavy CBC use, reduces my need for pain meds. The addition of ship details are really cool. I do appreciate an author that truly entertains and writes stories that are so engaging.
My opinion is that good authors draw a reader in and use their brain like a soundstage with an unlimited budget MWM is one such writer.
